Privacy Policy
Who we are
ApnaRail is a journey companion for Indian Railways travellers. It helps you search schedules, check live running status, station boards, operational exceptions, fares, seats, coaches, and PNR status. ApnaRail does not sell tickets, take payments, or create IRCTC bookings.
Information we process
- Search and enquiry inputs you enter (stations, train numbers, travel dates, class/quota fields) are sent to our API and, when configured, to the RailRadar data provider to answer your request.
- PNR numbers you submit are sent only to fulfil that PNR enquiry. They are not stored in our database or put in URLs. Clear the result when finished.
- Saved PNRs (if you use that feature) are kept in your device browser/app
localStorageonly (maximum 10). We do not sync them to our servers. - Destination alarms run on your device while the page/app stays open and may use the browser/system notification permission you grant. No push account is created.
- Technical logs may include IP address, request time, and error codes for rate limiting and reliability. We do not sell personal data.
Accounts and payments
There is no ApnaRail user account sign-in for the companion tools. Demo booking (when enabled in non-production environments) is anonymous and not a real ticket.
Third parties
Live railway data may be supplied by RailRadar under our server-side API key. Their processing of enquiry data is governed by their terms. Hosting may run on infrastructure providers such as Vercel for the website and API.
Children
ApnaRail is a general travel utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
- Clear site/app storage to remove saved PNRs.
- Deny or revoke notification permission to disable destination alarms.
- Stop using the service at any time by closing the site or uninstalling the app.
